NEW YORK, NEW YORK – I watched a remarkable light develop out my office window. Rain wet Third Avenue reflected light that seemed to be shining only on it. Another demonstration that there are pictures all around us if only we watch for them. Four exposures take with my Lecia M9 and a 90mm Elmarit lens stitched in Photoshop.

I always enjoy your photographs, but in the time I’ve been following your blog this must be one of your finest images. The depth in moving from the cars beneath you out to the horizon and sky, and the contrast between the street and the buildings, it’s really extraordinary. Thanks for sharing this one!
