NEW YORK NEW YORK – Walking around town today with my Leica Monochrom Model 246. Images from today and five years ago illustrate the power of the center.

Day 2041 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – I was out today with my little bitty camera – my pocketable Sony RX100 III. It’s fine. Really. I like it. But its images just don’t have the same impact as my Leica Monochrom images. The polo is missing. Here’s one from 86th Street today. Actually two frames stitched.

NORTHVILLE CONNECTICUT – Tired of indifferent weather I spent the morning with a camera in our local hardware store. Not the best moment in my one photo every day journey.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Another rainy day. I spent some time this morning at Thornwillow Press’s shop at the St. Regis ordering Christmas presents for various family members, an experience captured with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Luxochron lens. Later I took in the crowds at Rockefeller Center in the rain, again with the Monochrom but with my 24mm Summilux lens.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Once again I’m distracted – really having trouble getting into the moment and seeing. A day of shots at random with my Leica Monochrom and 18mm lens. Here we are on the cheese isle at Fairway.

NEW YORK NEW YORK – Out and about with my Leica Monochrom and 18mm Super Elmar lens. An intense winter day. We left for Connecticut without having uploaded this images from my New Desktop, so we skipped December 19 until we got back to New York – I’m actually writing this on January 1 and posting it retroactively. Here it is – the sidewalk in front of Bloomingdales.

NEW YOKR NEW YORK – A good day with my camera. We had dinner with Patrizia Chen and some friends of hers. I’m getting even better results from my Leica now that I have glasses that correct my astigmatism. Before Patrizia’s dnner I stopped at Ladurée, an outpost on Madison Avenue of the French cathedral of macaroons. All images taken with my Leica Monochrom and 35mm Summilux lens.
