ANTIGUA – We’re down here for a long weekend, getting away from some pretty miserable weather in New York. Traveling with my new Sony A7riii, which I’m shooting exclusively through the end of January to get some feel for its peculiarities.
Day 2,976 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
MAUI HAWAII – Big Beach. That’s the actual name of the beach. Shoot with my Leica Monochrom.
Day 2848 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
On this day five years ago (day 1,022): Riverside Park South. Original shot in color with an Alpa TC technical camera and Phase One back. Building win the background is one of a half dozen or so Trump towers on Riverside Park South.
ANTIGUA – We hung out on the beach today, with me scrambling a bit to find a suitable image. The first image is Maria in her natural habitat shot with my Leica Monochrom and 50mm Summicron Asp. with a neutral density filter to permit shooting wide open to isolate the foreground.
Day 2,730 of one photograph every day for the rest of my life.
TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS – A very active day. Maria did two dives; I rode out on the dive boat and snorkeled. When we got back I had a long walk on the beach – Im on a program of walking at least seven miles a day (14,000 steps on my fitbit). We caught a sunset. Here you go:
